Secret Dog Diary (“we”) helps you create a personalized keepsake diary from information you provide about your dog. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Dog name, personality traits, behaviours and relationship details you enter
• One photo you upload
• Optional memory and common phrase after purchase
• Email address for sending your private access link
• Payment details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
• Basic technical and attribution data such as UTMs and device type

How we use your information

Your photo and answers are used only to create your diary, downloads and private access link. We do not use customer photos or free-text answers to train public AI models.

AI writing

We use AI as part of the writing process to draft imaginative diary text based on the details you provide. The product is entertainment, not a claim about a dog’s real inner thoughts.

Retention

Unpurchased projects are automatically deleted after 30 days. Purchased diaries are retained so you can return via your private link, unless you request deletion.

Deletion

Email us via the Contact page to request deletion of your project, photo and related data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. See Stripe’s privacy documentation for how they handle payment data.
